The 2017 Sinquefield Cup is an elite international event, featuring 10 of the strongest chess players in the world. Over the course of nine rounds, these competitors will battle for $300,000 in prize money, points toward the Grand Chess Tour, and the coveted title of 2017 Sinquefield Cup Champion.

Grand Chess Tour: Art of Chess
The Grand Chess Tour will be complemented this year by a traveling exhibition of chess-related art and artifacts from the Dr. Jeanne and Rex Sinquefield Collection and the permanent collection of the World Chess Hall of Fame. You can view the exhibition at the World Chess Hall of Fame directly across the street from the Chess Club & Scholastic Center of Saint Louis at 4652 Maryland Ave., Saint Louis, MO.

Grand Chess Tour Merchandise
Autograph Day Guidelines: August 1, 4-5:30 p.m.
Meet & Greet Autograph Session Attendees are welcome to bring their own items to be autographed, and signable merchandise will be available for purchase at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis. Due to time constraints, each person will be allowed one autograph per player. In order to accommodate as many attendees as possible, photos with players will not be allowed. This is a first-come, first-served event. Please arrive early to reserve your space. We will start handing out line tickets at 10:00 a.m. on August 1st. After receiving your ticket, you may leave the venue and come back closer to the time of the event.
Live Spectator Accommodations
Spectators are welcome to watch the rounds live at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis with a $10/round ticket. Tickets will include the following:
- Access to theater style seating in the main lobby to view commentary of the event
- Access to watch the players live on the second floor (no cell phones permitted)
- Live commentary and group discussion with Grandmasters next door at Kingside Diner
- Discount on food at Kingside Diner located next door and 10% discount at Culpeppers grill with wristband
