The Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz is new to the Grand Chess Tour in 2017. This $150,000 event will feature six of the 2017 Grand Chess Tour players and four wildcard picks, each of whom will try to prove they can push pawns with the very best. Held just after the Sinquefield Cup, the Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz promises to be an exciting affair that fans can enjoy live - right here at grandchesstour.org.

Grand Chess Tour: Art of Chess
The Grand Chess Tour will be complemented this year by a traveling exhibition of chess-related art and artifacts from the Dr. Jeanne and Rex Sinquefield Collection and the permanent collection of the World Chess Hall of Fame. The exhibition will be located on the third floor of the World Chess Hall of Fame, directly across the street from the Chess Club & Scholastic Center of Saint Louis, at 4652 Maryland Ave., Saint Louis, MO.

Grand Chess Tour Merchandise
Autograph Day Guidelines: August 13, 4-5:30 p.m.
Meet & Greet Autograph Session Attendees are welcome to bring their own items to be autographed, and signable merchandise will be available for purchase at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis (CCSCSL). Due to time constraints, each person will be allowed one autograph per player. In order to accommodate as many attendees as possible, photos will not be allowed. This is a first-come, first-served event. Tickets to reserve your space will be available at 10 AM on the morning of August 13 at the front desk of the CCSCSL.
Live Spectator Accommodations
Spectators are welcome to watch the rounds live at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis with a $10/round ticket. Tickets will include the following:
- Access to theater style seating in the main lobby to view commentary of the event
- Access to watch the players live on the second floor (no cell phones permitted)
- Live commentary and group discussion with Grandmasters next door at Kingside Diner
- Discount on food at Kingside Diner located next door and 10% discount at Culpeppers grill with wristband
