The 2018 Sinquefield Cup was one of the most dramatic in the tournaments history and ended in a three way tie between GM Magnus Carlsen, GM Fabiano Caruana and GM Levon Aronian. All three will be back again this year and will no doubt be seeking an outright win. The 2019 tournament will be expanded to 11 rounds for the first time in its history and will offer an improved prize fund this year which will total $325,000.

Spectators are welcome to watch the rounds live at the Saint Louis Chess Club with a $10/round ticket. All access 5-day pass available for $40. Tickets will include the following:
- Access to theater style seating in the main lobby to view commentary of the event with light snacks and beverages
- Access to watch the players live on the second floor (no cell phones permitted)
- Live commentary and group discussion with Grandmasters next door at Kingside Diner with beverage station
- 50% discount on food at Kingside Diner located next door
- Valet parking available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
