Vincent Keymer is the current German No. 1 and one of the top juniors in the world, originally from Mainz, Germany. After becoming Germany’s youngest ever IM at the age 12, he won the 2018 Grenke Chess Open as the 99th seed, a sensational result for which he earned his first GM norm. Keymer would complete his GM title at the age of 14 years and 11 months, the youngest ever by a German player. Keymer was also the winner of the 2022 Prague Masters and finished second in the 2022 World Rapid Championship. This will be his first time playing in the GCT.
